Super Bowl XLVI

Brian LOVES football......... Jayden's FAVORITE team is the PATRIOTS.  I wanted it to be fun for Jayden so I put my crafty party decorating thinking cap on. I wanted it to be simple and to the point and not overwhelm my 9 year old!!!!  The teams colors are red, white and blue, so coming up with ideas all the way up until and hour before the game was okay because I have tons of stuff at home already........

 The appetizers (Kim trying her yummy Chili Quesso)  Kim made Chili Quesso and twice baked potato casserole-yumm, I made my super easy and super yummy crockpot chili, Ranch dip with lays, artichoke dip with ritz crackers, spinach dip (I bought it from Sam's Club) it taste just like the Knorr recipe!!!

 I got my Lowe's magazine on Saturday..... almost 2 years after I signed up for there mailing list.  They had these really cute Valentine hearts that I fell in LOVE with.  Brian and I went to Lowe's Sunday and got all the stuff I needed and he cut out hearts for me so I could cut and tie during the game :)   Okay, let me just say it took me the whole entire super bowl game, and Kim helped me cut the rags, then after the football game I cleaned up the whole house and then sat down and finished...... when I stood up from the couch my clock said 12:59.  so it was a VERY LONG CRAFT and VERY MESSY, I had red strings all over my carpet were I sat.      I LOVE HOW IT CAME OUT THOUGH!!!!!!!!!

The Patriots lost :( I must say I am NOT a football fan..... but for my son I watched the game and made a little party for him.  The score was really close I have to say) My heart so bad because Jayden was so upset about the Patriots loss, Brian even went to talk with him and he was not having it :( but hey his team made it to the Super Bowl!!!!!!!
