ASK ME AND I WILL TELL YOU.....

IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU........
that I am loved by God, my family and my friends.  I am so thankful for my family and for the friends I have made in Oklahoma and my forever friends from back home.  I miss my sisters, niece, nephew and parents a lot it hurts lately..... but in a couple months I am hoping to get home to spend the summer with them all.
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU........
i am thankful for Jayden's 10 fingers he uses to draw his amazing art, and his 10 toes on his 2 feet to walk up to me and give me a huge hug (and to tickle me, he thinks he's so funny)
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU....
i colored my hair all dark a couple months ago and i HATE it.  but being a professional hair stylist and the ability to highlight my own hair, i will be slowly adding my highlights to get it back to the blonde i was last summer.
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU........
i have not read the bible in almost 2 weeks and i can totally feel how distant i have become, but last night i prayed and asked God to bring me closer. tomorrow morning my dear friend Wendy is coming over for coffee and to watch some teachings.... we did this every morning about a month ago and we were on FIRE, we talked today and that's were we want to be again and stay that way!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU.......
i am thankful for Persaus, at night when i lay with her in bed, she asks me to "hold her" i tuck my arm under her head and cuddle her and run my fingers through her hair as we say our prayers and talk about the day.  I always tell her something that i am proud of her for that day.  sometimes i feel like all i am always on my kids, so telling them every night how proud i am of them just ends the night in so much peace, and to let them know i love them even when they don't follow the rules, and that still notice there achievements everyday.
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU........
i love to take pictures and if you looked at my camera roll on my iphone i have well over 800 pictures and yes they are all downloaded onto my computer and onto a cd.  i love capturing my kids in all that they do so i can put it on here then when i print out our hard back books of this blog i love watching the kids sit on the couch and look back at the previous years and reminisce that time in there life.
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU........
i cannnnnnnn nnnnnnottttttttt let myself come to terms that people will copy every thing i do right down to the crumb that falls on the ground.  i know the highest form of a compliment is copying.  but when i talk about what my plans are for the following days, or the project i have going or what i have to do in town, or what new craft i want to try...... it bothers me when peoples heads are spinning with the stuff im spitting out of my mouth they run and go do what i you here me i just got done talking about, then have to blow it in my face because they went and did it.......... IT BOTHERS ME LIKE CRAZZZZZY.  i take my life one day at a time i dont need to be in a race to do what or go here or make this first......... this is my family life and deep down inside i have some pretty good visuals for crafts, parties, recipes................
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU.......
we would like to have another baby, but have a couple upgrades in our life before we take the first steps to our growing family.
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU.......
i am excited to start a garden this spring with my neighbor Rachael out on her 5 acre land.  they garden all year long and they are going to help me start one and then teach me how to can all the veggies.  sooooo excited!!!!!!!
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU......
i am looking forward to going to the womens conference Joyce Meyers speaks at and also to women of faith with my two friends Kim and Wendy.  these two ladies have been such a joy in my life and our husbands get along so well and so do all the kids!!!!!!!
IF YOU ASKED ME I WOULD TELL YOU I AM GOING TO BED AND I WILL ADD TO MY POST TOMORROW :))))

Gymnastics

With Jayden in all different sports this year I really wanted to get Persaus back into something and gymnastics she keeps asking about.  We are at a new facility, she will be able to move up in levels and begin to compete at some point.

These Pictures are taken on our way to the new gym..... as I was putting Persaus hair up I was telling here that she need to use her words today, and how this was a new gym and new teachers..... she said " I'm going to be a little bit shy"

Duck Pond

finally we had a day with the sun out,  I asked my friend Wendy if she wanted to pack lunches and go feed the ducks with the little kids.  I laid out my beach blanket on top of the table and we had our picnic on top of the table because the ducks came to close for comfort while we ate lunch.  The Seagulls began to fly over our head way to close, I found a big stick and ran around until they left.  I know I said the sun was finally out, but the wind, the wind is so yucky out here.  If you have ever been to Oklahoma, there is not a day that goes by that we don't have wind...... The kids had sooooo much fun feeding the ducks.  My friend Amie told us to crumble the bread and throw it up in the air and the Seagulls will catch it, it was really neat because most of them did catch bread.

Friends over for dinner

We enjoyed our friends Dave and Amie and there 4 boys for dinner.  I am thankful for our mud room, it has a counter with a sink...... I made pulled pork ( I cannot stand the smell of it cooking or cooked) so I put the crockpot in the laundry room and shut the door :)  I made yummy potatoes and a salad.

Painters Drop cloths

A Blog I follow had used Painters drop cloths in one of her rooms over like 6 windows, so 3 walls.  She had gotten the idea from the Home depot magazine.  In our front room we have a really tall window and I have always wanted curtains, but the ones I really like from Pottery Barn are like 189 just for 1 curtain the length I wanted....... well this drop cloths went PERFECT and drag on the floor like I wanted.  The cloths were only 10.79!!!!!  I REALLY like them :)))) I didn't have to cut and sew any of it :)

Persaus Lunch date with Maddy

Persaus and Maddy played dress up all while I made them lunch, when I had them come sit down I noticed they both had almost the same colors on..... I thought it was cute......

playing outside

We have had a lot of ugly cold and rainy days the last couple or few weeks and our friends went to the baseball field for practice and Persaus wanted to go because brother was going, so Brian and I went, Brian helped with baseball even though we are not playing this year but we know all the players and are friends with the coaches, I sat with Amie and we talked and ate cheese its and string cheese :) and Persaus along with all the siblings that didn't have practice played in the dirt....

Lunches

This may sound weird and you may need to put me in a loony bin after this post but........ I LOVE MAKING MY HUSBAND AND KIDS LUNCHES!!!!!!  Brian's lunch I prepare it the night before and Jayden I make in the morning as soon as I have served them breakfast, I put special snacks in his as a surprise, food he didn't know I had bought for the week :) Persaus I make her lunch after school and we sit together.  I put fresh spinach on our sandwich and she loved it!!!!!!! I always make sure I have a protein, fruit, carb, veggie and dairy to drink.

I buy 2 pinapple's every week from Sam's club and 1 doesn't even last 2 days in our house lol.

Red Velvet Cupcakes for Church

I volunteer every month and bake cake pops for our Church.  This month I totally forgot and a friend from the church who makes the schedule was so kind to ask me Friday (2 days before I needed them to be made) if I was making cake pops.  My weekend was already crazy so I kindly asked if I could make cupcakes instead, she said of course!!!!  They were yummy, my kids and all the neighborhood kids enjoyed them too :)

Jayden's sleep over

Jayden had his 2 friends over for a couple nights, then he went to there house for a night :) they get along so well and I just love listening to them laugh and having a great time.  I go above and even higher when my kids have friends staying the night for at least 1 meal, the dinner or breakfast.  This weekend I made the breakfast fun, and the boys helped..... I made pancakes from scratch, a recipe I found..... yes I have to sift the dry ingredients and make a hole in the middle of the dry ingredients and then pour in the wet kind of recipe from scratch!!!!!  I like to know what is in our food :)  I got out the cookie cutters and let the kids pick out a cutter and food coloring they wanted.

Valentines

We planned on having fondue, but when I was shopping at Sam's Club I couldn't pass up a good deal on steaks. We ate bbq steaks with baked potato's and green beans.  I made a colorful Valentine cake and had fun pretending I am a cake decorator (wink) I made Jayden's Valentine and bought him the movie Real Steal.  Brian wrote Persaus a letter and got her Lady and the Tramp.

Heart cupcakes, thank you pinterest for the inspiration :)

Persaus Valentines for the class, I did get the idea from Pinterest, and changed them completely to fit Valentines day :)

Sweet letters for the teachers with yummy Valentine cupcakes we made for all the teachers, chef, janitor, director, teacher assistants.  I help at the school as much as I can and have assisted in all the pre-k classes so I have grown a friendship with all the amazing staff, even the chef- she is a christian with soooooo much Faith I really enjoy talking with her...... well let me just say EVERY teacher and assistant and the director are all Faith filled Christians and I absolutely enjoy talking about God and sharing fun laughs to running that a couple ladies do.  ohh and yes I need to turn this photo......
