Persaus 1st day of Pre-Kindergarten

WOW!!!!! Is what comes out first…. Our baby girl (yes she is still our baby, as is Jayden) Brian says it two…. And when we say it out loud in front of friends like, go check on the baby, or where is the baby…. Friends will ask what baby, HA HA!!!!  I let her pick out her 1st real backpack and she loves getting it every morning, put her favorite stuffed puppies in it every morning, and every morning it is new puppies LOL!!!  Persaus LOVES her teacher Miss Kelly, and has already told me she is going to invite her to her
birthday party (we are already planning) Persaus is into anything numbers, she wants to know how old everyone is and how to make that number with her fingers, she likes to count the characters on every page of a book we read to her, we went for a jog/ walk to Jayden’s football practice and we counted electrical polls.  Persaus LOVES to be outside, and I gave her the okay to play hard and make MUD, I just ask her to NOT climb the fence which 95% of the time she is up on the fence looking at all the dogs around us!!!!!!!  At her parent teacher conference Persaus traced her name perfect, then she had to write her name on the back, for the first time I have ever seen her do this she wrote it backwards J but then I was thinking…  as I asked her why she did that, she said she was asked to write it like that, I think when the teacher turned her paper over she was trying to trace it and it was the opposite way, just my thought!!!! I think it looks super cute, but we will make sure she writes it the right way!!! At her level she needs to be able to count to 15 without help…. Persaus forgets 13, so at football practice last night I had her find me 15 rocks, and count them out to me, then put them in her bottle and back and forth, I need to keep it interesting and help her remember those numbers.  She traced then copied a plus sign, circle and square perfect, recognized 20/26 letters of the alphabet; the teacher said that was amazing… I want her to know them ALL so we are working on that two J the second week of school Miss Kelly talked with me after school and said Persaus was squeezing a friends cheeks, not hard and wasn’t being mean, Persaus wanted the friend to play with her… we had a talk about putting our hands on friends LOL!!!! I hope this is as bad as it gets for Little Miss Persaus!!!! Brian and I are teaching Persaus when to use yes maam, no maam, yes sir, and no sir, the teachers out here are reminding the kids when to use this also.  On our way home from school everyday Persaus and I sing the days of the week, Persaus always forgets Thursday!!! Persaus rides the bus in the mornings to school, she REALLY wants to ride the bus home, but I was even hesitant to let her ride at all… I just change the subject when she asks!!!!  This is only the beginning of the year school update………..
