Chicken dinner..... the kids LOVED this meal.  I was even more prepared with my table cover, I usually only put it on my table when we have other kids over.... but this meal we had to use it :)

Back to school night for both kids.  Jayden was at football practice while Brian and I went to both schools

Elgin Owls

Brian and I are huge on reading to the kids.... and with football it has been a challenge reading the minimum 20 minutes before bed... so I read to Persaus after school, it's quiet and just her and I :) the nights of football I will read 1 or 2 books before bed and have her look over a book to herself.

Jayden's classroom is in the same hall as one of the kindergarten classrooms lol!!!

Brian and I had to find our child's desk by looking for there name in the drawings the students made.... Jayden helped us before we got to his class and said he is the ONLY student in his whole class that has a J in his name :))

Jayden had to find another student in the class that matched his story, then put it together and draw a picture to go with the story.

I took a picture of Jayden's desk..... like at home he does NOT keep it clean, at home I am always picking it up, but at school he has to be responsible!!!! we have added cleaning his desk to his life skills at home :)

Disneyland

I took Persaus to Disneyland for her first time J She had a lot of fun, but I do think it was a little overwhelming for her.  We stayed in the castle and enjoyed the princess for most of the day.  In the late afternoon we got on the train and went for a little ride.  The weather was HOT and standing in long lines was not what Persaus wanted to do, so I would keep her busy with the camera!!!!  Persaus wanted to go on the caracole, which was her 1^st ride at Disney, and she rode on the horse she chose while standing in line.  She talks about going back to Disney ALL the time!!! I’m hoping we can make it to Disney World, because the distant from here to Florida is the same as going to California… but we will see…
