Mothers Day
Every Mother's Day we usually pack food for a picnic and the summer water toys and spend the day at Fiesta Island in San Diego. This year being in Oklahoma would have to be different, but I will say Brian put together a picnic that will forever be remembered :)) We went on post to a park right next to a creek, parked the truck under a tree next to a swing set and laid our blanket in the back of the truck. We walked along the creek over to the little water fall and looked at the fish. We found the wildlife refuge which is a few feet from where we were parked and got to see different birds, a bob cat, a huge Turkey, raccoon, deer, and a red fox. My mothers day was so amazing because I got be with my family. After we ate our lunch Brian walked along the creek with the kids.... I laid down in the back of the truck and looked up into the tree, through the tree where just a little bit of sunshine was peeking through as the wind was blowing hard and I began to thank God for my children, for my husband, for the lunch we ate, for our health. We would not be at the place we are right now without God!!!! laying in the back of the truck and reflecting on the place Brian, our kids and myself are at makes my world!!!!!
