Our life, the Martinez story: Easter Weekend PART 1

This year we had my brother getting married Easter weekend!!! The whole weekend was soooo beautiful from the moment our family on both sides arrived till the last evening we spent with them :)) Friday night we took my mom and Bobby to a famous restaurant Meers here in Oklahoma. We ate lots of yummy fried food and ate the famous Meers burger which is about the size of a pie plate!!! After dinner we were on our way to pick up my little sister and dad at my brothers house.... outside my mom was taking FOREVER to get out of the car and honestly I thought it was because my step father and mom didn't want to be in close quarters with my dad.... so I was little upset and went inside, Amanda didn't let me get very far and turned me around and said look there is something outside for you.... I can't see very far so I got closer to see that my older sister Angie and her whole family pulled up.... AHHHHHHH!!!!! this was the BEST gift EVER!!!! ( I'm tearing just reminiscing the moment) so my brother and I had NO idea as well as Brian and our kids. So we all went inside and met Amanda's family that we hadn't met and caught up with the family we hadn't seen in a few years. The evening was perfect!!!!! Saturday morning and the wedding day :)) My family met us at Jayden's soccer game in the early morning then followed to our house to have lunch and let the kids play and my sis finally getting to see my house ha ha ha!!! Off to the wedding we went at the Little Chapel of Lawton... the most beautiful Chapel. The wedding was beautiful and the LOVE was in the air :) followed by a reception at Red Brick Steak House--YUMMY!!! The family went bowling after as a tradition I believe is my brothers and we went home because it was time for our kids to get to bed!!!!
EASTER morning..... Jan, Angie, Saylor, Scout, Mom, Bobby, Dad and Alex got to enjoy Easter morning with us and the kids, My mom and Bobby helped me cook up breakfast while the kids played with there new Easter stuff . The morning ended shortly when my sis, and dad and little sis had to leave to back home ( the weekend happened WAY too fast) The weekend will forever be engraved in all of our hearts and wow was it a huge blessing to be with my WHOLE family at one time on Easter!!!!!! We went to Tom and Amanda's for brunch that her family put together.... so yummy!! my favorite is her mom Sue's potato dish :) Amanda's sister Shannon and Brian hid Easter eggs for Olivia and Persaus to find. Then more family and friends were off to the airport :( We went home and just relaxed because we still had a few more days with family and wanted to be well rested for all the walking we would be doing.
