14 years ago yesterday I met Brian at his friend Jeff"s house, and 14 years ago today, Brian and I sat in the back of his truck (1 of many he owned) under the stars at the pump house and he said so your my girlfriend now :))) and the most unforgettable 15 and 17 year old (peck) we still laugh at when we talk about it, kiss............ our journey has been a roller coaster, but the butterflies when going up and down the coaster are still inside this very moment, like that excited moment you feel when you fall in love, I am sooo blessed and thank God every night to have Brian as my husband!!!!!!!!

Memorial weekend
We spent the weekend hanging out with friends on Saturday for Addison's 1st birthday :)) all of us girls planned on going to the zoo before it got tooooo Hot.... well it was too Hot so we packed our toys up on the trailers and went riding!!!!
The morning before we went riding Brian, Persaus and I took Jayden to our Church and watched him go off to his first overnight Church Camp that was in Texas.... I cried like a baby leaving as Brian was laughing ( I think it was to hold back his tears) then he rubbed my back and said he will be fine this is part of his growing up and you letting him go..... Thanks babe for the kind words, but it just made me cry more that Jayden is growing up!!!! The 4 days was the longest 4 days of my life..... all kinds of emotions went through my head, when negative thoughts came in I would start praying and then was calm. The first night I woke up to a thunderstorm..... oh ya for my California family and friends.... the thunder out here is INSANE..... Brian woke up and the first thing we said was I hope Jayden sleeps through this storm. when we asked him how he did, he said "What storm"??? thank you Jesus!!!!! Jayden came back sunburned, fell asleep as soon as I got him in the car and told us all his fun stories and friends he made!!!!
Misty and Sherry went off on a ride, I went twice while those girls were gone, I was looking for them but didn't go far enough, Brian and Jacob went off to find the girls while Sherry's son Dylan went to find Ean. Everyone was found and the girls were covered in mud..... Misty said she wanted to sling some dirt...... She had a LOT of fun!!!!!

we all got cleaned up and went to Sherry's for a BBQ and the kids swam and played in the backyard. Brian and I just met Sherry and her family and they live here in Elgin and they are a really fun family (thank you Misty for introducing us)

Ice Cream
Ice cream is a must have in the heat out here in Oklahoma!!!!! a few doors down from our bank is an Orange Leaf self serve ice cream..... the kids and I went and enjoyed a little treat :))
On our way home Persaus fell asleep, she is sooo peaceful when she is sleeping :)))
last minute trips like this going to get ice cream is one of my favorite memories I do with my kids, they don't ask for days before we go and I love every second of talking to them!!!!

Gym recital
Persaus was in her first gymnastics recital that included a really cute dance routine. I did not bring my camera because I wanted to video tape this so she had it later on in life :)))
let me just tell you a little bit about our night. We had to be at he theater at 5:30pm, the show began at 6pm. When we sat down and then got a brochure we noticed our team was up the second to last :((( when we had rehearsal I thought we were the second or third group-nope- well as Miss Jenni spoke before the show began she said it will take around 3 and half hours to get through the whole recital-sighhhhh- Persaus was up at 8:30pm...... SIGGGHHHHH ..... past her bed time and probably past most of the girls bedtime and they did really good but we all could tell it was tooo late and they were over being tied down in the theater seats for 3 hours. ENOUGH SAID
In the big picture Persaus loved getting her hair curled and she let me put some pink blush on her face.... oh and she HAD to have BROWN SPARKLE eye shadow on which thankfully rubbed off by the time she went on stage :))) Brian and Jayden picked out flowers for her which was sooo cute and well she destroyed them by the time the night was over :)))

Smore's cakes
My friend Grace sent me a link to this YUMMUY looking recipe.... Jayden had his friends over and I looked at the ingrediants and had them all so I made these YUMMMY Smore's Cakes and boy did the boys LOVE them. (and Persaus)

Gage got it all over his face then stuck his face up against his glass and burned his lip :)) after I told them a million times to not touch the glass cause they were HOT.... they didn't want to wait for them to cool off before eating.... this is why he burned himself!!!

Medicine Park
School has been out 1 week today :)))) and I am loving that they have a break and can relax and enjoy the summer. This year has gone by really fast but it's over and Jayden will be going on to the 4th grade and Persaus will be starting Pre-School- WOW they are growing up fast!!!
My friend Grace called and asked if I wanted meet at Medicine Park.... of coarse!!!!!!! I had 3 extra boys- Jayden's friends. Persaus and Olivia had fun feeding the ducks ( hand feeding), oh and the fish :)) then Grace took them up to the ice cream shop to have a treat!!! Thank you Grace. I stayed back and watched the boys... and as soon as they were done we took all the kids up for an ice cream!!
As soon as we got back to our car a storm was heading in with a tornado watch... the lightning was over our heads and it was a good thing we got out of the water and went home.
