The 4th

Brian had a 4 day weekend which just made our hearts filled!!!!! Thursday was the annual horse shoe tournament at the families.  On the 4th Angie and I always swam with our kids at her house then went to visit our hubby's and let the kids eat the pig they cook in the ground and then head over to my in-laws Church to watch the fireworks....... That tradition my sister and I did ended last year :-((((  last year was a blur so this year was heart rentching when it set in as I was sitting at the tournament with no real plans for the day...... So I sat around watching the family and friends play horshoes, kept track of my kids as well as Saylor and Scout and Mason, talked a lot with my sister Ali (I really enjoyed that) Brian lost after the second round of shoes so we decided to race home to catch the fireworks for the kids.

On our way to the horseshoe tournament

Our little sugar dressed for Independence Day!!!

This is only about a 1/3 of the group this year playing.....

I lost track of Persaus at one point and after walking all over the property and about 30 minutes I started to really worry..... My brother in law got word from his cousin that Saylor and Persaus were taking back her dogs to the house..... When I got there Persaus was inside the goat pin..... I asked her what she was doing inside, and she said "I'm just roping goats" I laughed but was also worried because no adult was around....... Ahhhhh!!!!! And everyone wanted me to play horseshoes and I said NO because Persaus might saddle up a horse and take off!!!! Well I found her in with goats...... That's close enough lol!!!!!!!

The before picture of a food fight these two got in....

Jayden off with his cousins ALL day long- he had soooo much fun!!!!!

...... We were trying to leave but once again could not find Persaus, Brian and I set off to Gina's house agin to see if she was "roping Goats" but just passed the arena we see her blue and white shirt, her playing on a mountain of dirt.  And this is who she was playing with along with a ton of other kids :-))
