Gone Country
Our friends said it..... City girl gone country. Friends of ours Matt and Kelli invited us out to there property about -10 min from our house to shoot guns, and to ride our dirt bikes (but riding didn't happen this time). They had some trash to get rid of and out here in Oklahoma you can burn your own trash :) ya when we moved out here passing through Texas I saw random fires, I learned from my mother in law that it's normal out here!!!! The fire going actually was great because it kept us warm as it was in the high 30's low 40's. There was horses, cows and a couple dogs..... And a GIANT mound of dirt that all the kids had fun plying on. I stood back and had memories of when I was a child and playing in the dirt for hours OUTSIDE which in today's world video games is the new outdoors :((. We enjoy the outside!!!!!!!! I stepped out of my box and can say I can check off 1 thing on my bucket list..... I shot a gun for the first time!!!!!!!!! Jayden also shot a couple guns for his first time, he told our friends "this is the most dangerous thing I've ever done". I didn't even allow him to play with toy guns until a couple years ago, so, yes this was a dangerous thing!!!!! Matt gave all the kids little fireworks to to play with. Persaus finally went for a horseback ride, a little shy (that's our Persaus) I walked up to the horse and pet the horse with Persaus until she was comfortable and soon she was off running around with Maddy and the dog and riding the horse :)). I watched Jayden with the rest of the boys run in the pasture and chase the cows. Then the boys wanted to shoot the guns, they set up cans in the giant mound of dirt and the dads helped them fire away!!!! Dusty brought a gun that him and Kelli were shooting that made me almost deff as I was shooting next to them lol. Being in the country, letting the kids be kids and get dirty is how I want my kids to be kids!!!!!! Thank you Matt and Kelli for having us out :)
