This post is almost 3 months late but after 10 years and 3 months later of marriage I can say I'm still in my honeymoon stage!!! My marriage is not perfect and at times may not be easy, but at the end of each day we are so thankful for each other and all the positive things in life we reflect on and the trials we face we can talk through them...... Or walk away until we wanna talk about it lol!!!! Brian is my best friend, he keeps a smile on my face even when I'm mad, he can finish my exploding mouth at times cause he already knows what I will say ha ha!!!! He kisses me good night, he asks me everyday when he walks in how my day has gone. I made a huge to do list and when I got home last night from grocery shopping for Thanksgiving he had marked it all off because he did everything on it and wrote on the bottom "I love my wife". Sometimes I step back and want him to love me more.... I always say love me, hug me, hold me, kiss me...... And he does that and beyond above, he works his butt off to make a good living for me and the kids, and even when my head is steaming cause I'm going crazy and I ask him in a mean voice to help, he calmly does what I ask....... That's LOVE and everything in between. I am soooooooo thankful for him, I send him text to let him know what I am thankful for, how proud I am of him and to b called his wife!!!!!! And when I'm wrong I admit I am wrong :) when I'm mad I usually get quiet and don't want to talk at that moment as I might regret evil words that may come out of my mouth.
10 years of marriage......10 years ago I had a vision of having a big reception when we had our 10 year,,,,,, now living in OK and not having any family to celebrate we asked friends to watch the kids for the night. Brian and I went to a sub sandwich deli that is like the real Jersey tasting sandwiches, it was 30 bucks for our bill- just the two of us.... It was worth every penny!!!! We drove through the buffalo reserve to find a spot to have a picnic before we drove to the big city. We drove all the way up Mount Scott, turned on Pandora radio and ate and talked looking over OK. We then took our time and drove to Oklahoma City to have Cheesecake factory!!!! We sat in the bar so Brian could watch the game- that was my gift lol!!! And we had an appetizer and then of coarse yummy cheesecake!!! Brian enjoyed the pineapple upside down cheesecake and I enjoyed the Snicker cheesecake........yummmmmmm!!!!!! We went home and yep..... We celebrated 10 years!!!!!!
