I took my kids to the grocerie store with me the other day and because they were very good listeners I let them pick out a treat..... Drummmm roll......... they both chose a pad of paper. At first I thought to myself what they don't want candy.... Then I thought no, wow I am so proud that they made good choices and that they were so excited to get a small spiral pad of lined paper. When we got home I wrote each of there names on the front and off they went to doodle. Persaus brought me two pictures and I almost jumped out of my pants when she said she drew daddy and mommy, I said WOW!!! still amazed that it was her drawing I said can you draw you and brother.... Right in front of me she drew away. I must say she is an artist like her daddy and brother. As a brand new 3 year old, it's amazing!!!!
She drew our heads with legs going streight down from the faces, the eyes have the eyeballs filled in, the scribble above our faces is hair. She has now added arms when she draws.... But these were the very first and I know she will just keep getting better.
