Library Day

On my home from helping in Jayden's classroom I started day dreaming.... As I always do!!! And I decided I will take Persaus to the Library every Monday after I help in the classroom. Excited about my one on one time with Persaus we went to the Libruary ( for memories.... I told Persaus I was going to take her to the Library- she has no idea what it is! She said "That's okay, I stay home with Pappa"!!). Well we went anyway! I made our trip very short, 30 minutes we read 3 books and 30 minutes was plenty for our first time. I read the first two books at a table Persaus wanted to sit at, we read "Perfect Day" and "Dog in the Window". We then sat on the floor and read "Bob the Dinosaur". I took Persaus to the front desk to see if she was old enough to get her own Library card and she is! YAY!!! We did not check out any books today, maybe in a month or so when I feel she is ready!!! Another fun Library session will be the computers, again when I feel she is ready. I want her to get used to such a big place with alot of fun books to read and I want her to understand rules before I introduce more endless fun at the Library.

Persaus looking at the first book she picked out... "Perfect Day". And YES today was a "Perfect Day"!!!

PROUD Soccer MOM

THE CREW
As of today I am the very most PROUD Soccer mom in Temecula!!!! We have been questioning Soccer with how bad Jayden has Asthma..... Brian did many many many years in Soccer so this is so awesome he gets to live through Jayden now!!! His first practice was 2 days ago and today Jayden had his first game.... With only using the inhailer 1 time Jayden was a natural born Soccer player. Today was a double header! The first game the team did very well but lost 2-1, the second game our team families were all pumped and with all our yelling, cheering and clapping our team did extremely well we won 2-1 and the second goal was by JAYDEN!!! As his proud mommy I almost cried when he turned and looked at us to make sure we saw him, his smile so big.... Brian and I jumping up and down!!! ( I am all tears now typing this re-living the moment...aaawwww) We had a Jayden fan club today... Mimi, Pappa, Aunt GG, Saylor, Scout, Uncle Jay, Auntie Vanessa, Savannah, and Gavyn!!! I loved it when the kids yelled out to Jayden encouraging and also yelling out to the whole team. Soccer is going to be so much fun! I made the adults sub sandwhiches on wheat rolls, blazing buffalo chicken breast from Henry's (our favorite Boars head Deli meat) and cheese, I served big pickles with them, cut up carrots with ranch, grapes, chips, Hummus with multi grain chips. Brian helped me... He made all the kids peanut butter and jelly, I made individual bags with pirates booty, fruit snacks, and everyone had there own drinks!!! On our way home Jayden asked how many days till his practice.... He is soooo excited about this sport and that is all that is important to us!!!! We will sign Persaus up next spring too!! I am searching online to find Persaus a Cheerleading outfit!!! I started doing this when Jayden started in sports... She is brothers Cheerleader... And well the whole team of coarse:)))) I'll see how long she will go with it, his team is purple and she loves purple!! Thank you for coming out and supporting BABY J!!!!!!!!
And also Jayden's coach and his family are amazing, so organized and are totally into Soccer, we are so blessed to have them our first time in Soccer :)))))

I captured a few pictures on my phone from Jayden's practice on Thursday.... More to come from the game.......

Recycling for savings

Jayden has a very long wish list from Mighty Beans to a Trophy Truck he can drive his dad around in when he's 16!!! Right now he wants a Playstation 3.... We have other video games so I couldn't bring myself to buy him another game system. Brian and I talked one evening about how we would further teach Jayden and Persaus all about SAVING MONEY. About six months ago I took him to our bank and he opened a savings account, when I go online once in a while I transfer money into it so it's GROWING!!! So Brian and I decided if he wants the game system he will have to save for it. We cut a picture of a playstation 3 and put it on his jar which the lid counts the change. Today we turned in cans to the recycling center... This time they were kinda given to him, but we talked over dinner that if he wanted to earn money he has to work for it and help collect the cans. Jayden was so into it ripping open the plastic bags pooring the cans into the plastic trash cans, after we filled the first can we took a guess at how much the cans were worth.... Jayden said $10, I said $4. Well after the second can was filled Jayden said I think there're like a million cans here, I said I know!!!! Aaaannnndddd the grand total was $42 and some change.... We were jumping up and down, so exciting. On our way home we both agreed he would take the $2 dollars and some change to Church on Sunday to give for offering, then put $20 in his savings account and the other $20 toward his Playstation. All the change Jayden earns is going toward his Playstation 3 and we are encouraging him to not take any money from his savings acount, he also was given money for his birthday that he wants to put in his savings account. There are many moments when he says I have money let's go buy a toy.... We remind him of the big things he wants to save for and explain to him the importance of SAVING SAVING SAVING!!!!!

Jayden's new savings experience......

Jayden getting ready to fill the second trash can....

Having fun.....!!!!!

Beautiful Day Today

Today was such a nice and beautiful day out. I took the day off to spend time with my kids, we have a busy weekend and Jayden is back to school Monday :(((( Mimi and Jayden went to the bike trail by Harveston Lake. When they returned home Jayden ran inside to tell me they rode 6 miles!!! Sooo proud of himself and so are we!! He looks forward to his next bike ride. After running a few errands we came home had lunch then played in the front yard for a little over four hours!! I captured a few photos, painted Persaus and Dallas nails, the neighbor girls made the kids snow cones, and then we drew all over the driveway with chalk. We will be buying a snow cone machine this weekend cause my kids have been asking for one and when the girls offered them the cones they were doing backflips!!!!

Persaus has been a really really good eater so I had to capture this picture so she can see this later in her life.... Cream of rice, 2 hard boiled eggs- and she only will eat the egg white! And strawberries or any fruit that is season.

Persaus riding her quad.... She pushes herself backwards down the driveway then pushes the button does a little wheely and races up the driveway... She's going to need an upgrade real soon.

While I was riding the scooter capturing pictures and Jayden riding next to us this was too cute to pass up... Persaus tied up the dog to her Harley and said she was taking her on a walk.

As I was getting ready to take pictures of Jayden riding his bike he sat down to take a break so another day I will capture his awesome bike jumping.

Persaus and I decided to paint the dogs nails, Persaus said pink and purple, then Persaus wanted her nails the same colors.

Legoland

In Celebration of Jayden's Birthday I took him and his friend Riley to Legoland. We had tons of fun! We had planned this trip a couple weeks ago and had already invited Riley, and when we got up in the morning it was raining at our house, but we decided we would go anyway. I checked the weather for Carlsbad and it said the rain would clear by 9 am. It was nice and beautiful and packed with people when we got to the park. On to a ride and the rain started coming down around noon, then it was pouring and the park shut down all the rides until it cleared up. We went into the build and test room along with everyone else at the park!!! Jayden and Riley built there race car and tested them on the tracks. Off we went into the Bionicle room... not so crowded and they enjoyed sitting, watching the video and building Bionicles. The rain stopped and we were off to play, at this point about 95% of the people had left which was nice for us the boys got to stay on the rides over and over again. All of us have never been to the Sealife..... very small and the experience was fun but not worth the extra money to see every time.
This wall behind us is made of foam so we had to take a picture, it looks so real!

When we returned home Jayden wanted tacos for dinner and Root Beer floats. Riley stayed the night, this was Jayden's first time having a sleep over and I think Riley's too!! They played until almost 11pm :)))) but woke me up around 7am!! I got up and made them French toast, cut up apples and made them my special chocolate milk with whipped cream and chocolate drissled on top....mmmmmm!!!

Easter Morning

At 6:27 to be exact Jayden came into our room and said the Easter Bunny has come to our house and he brought Persaus a Pink Monster truck!!!! ( that was his first thing he said!!!!) so we got up and after a half hour or so we got Persaus up put Jayden's robe on her and downstairs we went..... The Easter bunny had baskets full of goodies, hoola-hoops for both Jayden and Persaus and all around the house the Easter Bunny hid eggs filled with special GOLD coins worth $1 dollar each!!!! They look forward to these special coins they get on the holidays!!!!
I was bummed we didn't have there cute baskets from Pottery Barn with there names printed on them :(((( when I opened the box in storage that said Easter Baskets they were not in there...boo... so we used these ones which worked perfect!

The kids both got there first "MIGHTY BEANS"

We had to take all the candy away and every time we turned around Persaus had another piece... when we got home from church we took it all away!! she could eat candy all day long if we let her.

After enjoying Easter baskets Brian went outside to take care of Dallas, ran inside said hurry look whats in our front yard....

Then we ran to the backyard to see 3 more right in front of us... we could here the flames. Persaus named them mommy and baby as to how close the big one and the further one as a small one!

Papa and Mimi before they went to Church

After Church Mimi took some family pictures of us... Thank You!
