Dinner Time

When we are settled down at the dinner table we have so much to say..... Or sometimes nothing at all! One at a time we tell a story about something we did today and focus on that story, once we have all told our story we go around once again. The third time around we tell a make believe story for some good laughs and sometimes we tell dreams or wishes!!! We haven't been consistant with it the last couple months but we started again tonight. Sometimes it's hard to get out of Jayden what he did in school... I ask him everyday what his favorite thing he did at school was???? And now he tells all his story for the day in detail. Jayden told us he played kick-ball with his buddies and handball. Oh and about the fire alarm going off today. Persaus understood tonight and yelled out " I tell my story" she told us how I read her the story about the whale and a snail. Brian took or dog Dallas to the vet to running errands with me. I talked about the fire alarm going off at school while I was putting homework together for the students and how loud it was, it made me jump in my chair!!!!!! These dinner time memories will be fun to read on later on in life.


For St. Patricks Day we had lots of green for dinner....  GREEN VEGGIES in our meal and for dessert Brian made the kids GREEN smoothies...
