Well like I said in an earlier post Persaus has been in Gymnastics for about a year now and is having a lot of fun. I finally downloaded pictures from my camera!!! Her day of gymnastics is warming up which always looks like they are jumping around! Then they are off to there first of 3 or 4 circuits. running and jumping on the spring board teaching them to jump in the air and land, onto the mini horse to push themselves up for strength and up on the tumbling trampoline. On the balance beam they go with her hands out.... well kinda! this is when gum-bee takes place, walking forward, backwards and sideways ( Persaus finally gets up on the beam without the big mat underneath! and then they are onto the bars, mini rings and mini parallel bars and if they have time they go jump in the pillows (foam pit) and then its stamp time!!!! Sometimes when her coach is helping other students she tends to wonder around the gym or go get a drink from the fountain or help herself to the stamps. I think her running around the gym comes from mom one year I got an award at one of our banquet's and everyone was given a nickname for the year that best described our year and I was the RCG gym rat cause I would wonder around and run about like I owned the gym!!!! Well I think Persaus will be doing gymnastics for a really long time as long as she is enjoying it.
