Brian and I both worked pretty late today. We had planned on taking Jayden and Persaus to Trevi to use a gift card that was given to us a couple years ago.... Instead we enjoyed the rain indoors staying dry! We took out Jayden's container filled with endless amounts of legos and we all built our own race car! This was fun as we were building someone would add a rule like you have to have a driver!!! Brian set up a big card board box propt up by a beanbag and our races began!!! Persaus got her first set of legos this Christmas from Meme and Pappa! Jayden had built her a house with the white picket fence and the flowers, her set is totally girly. Well she wanted to join in on our Lego races so we put wheels on her house and off it went. These times when we all four are together I love the most!!!!

Harveston Duck Pond
While Jayden was at school I met up with my sister and friends at Harveston Lake to play at the park and most importantly feed the ducks!!!! The kids had alot of fun and played so well together. We took a walk around the lake until we found a good spot to feed the ducks. At first we thought the ducks weren't wanting our bread and seconds later I think every duck in Temecula flew in!!!! It was amazing to listen to them land so smoothly on the water. I love going to Harveston it feels like I'm in another world it's so peaceful, I wouldn't mind living here!
Okay I am blogging from Brian's Ipod touch.... Trying to get my pictures from the duck pond from my picture app to my blog..... HELP???!!!???

Bible Verse
In Church this week Pastor Gary and Ann asked a good number of people to stand up and share with everyone our favorite Bible verse and why its your favorite right now.... As I was going through my notes the Bible verse that is on my heart and throughout the day when I pray and think about my life is in the book of proverbs, chapter 2 verses 5 and 6....Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. I know God is guiding our path and when I do pray to him even though he knows my story, he still wants me to ask for his peace and guidance and then he will reassure me path will be smooth and will take me down the right path. Since I have been more involved with our Church and teaching my children and growing with Brian how amazing the situations in our life have so much peace. I thank God everyday for the peace he brings to us.

Hair bows
For Persaus third birthday I paid almost $11.00 for 1 hair bow. I thought to myself I can't afford to keep paying that much for 1 bow.... then the following week for gymnastics I did not have a bow that would match her black, red and white leotard.... so I started making HAIR BOWS!!!!! it is so much fun almost every morning when I get her outfit ready I say okay Persaus lets make you a hair bow to go with your outfit, sometimes she picks the colors she wants and I glue it together. My sister told me about a website to get all the ribbon from Gymboree and I can't wait to order some... I have gone ribbon crazy and it has turned into a hobby. As Persaus grows I am excited to share on my blog the new girly things my sister and I make!!!!
Children's Museum and Corvette Diner
We had an hour wait until we could get a table at the restaurant so the kids played in the grass area on base... rolling down a hill and playing hide and go seek, red light green light, and ohhh Jayden found a 4 leaf clover!!!!
To end our fun day My sister and I took our kid's to the Corvette Diner in San Diego.... we were lucky to be sat in the room filled with black lights, our table was glowing so the kids would put there hands, face and hair down and it would stay for a few seconds, every thing and everyone was glowing. The waiters and waitresses had huge 50's hair, they ran around with the kids and danced to songs. Our waitress put straws in Saylor and Persaus hair, it was so loud we could hardly here each other but the kids loved it and can't wait to go back. A balloon guy came around and made Jayden a Shark and the girls got a little mermaid.... balloons I have never seen before they were sooo cool!!!
Birthday Party
Grandma Hicks and Auntie Shaina's Birthday is on Valentine's day and we celebrated on February 15th at Grandma's. The kid's wanted to go feed the ducks and going on the golf cart was the fastest way to get there and I said I would go.....AAAHHHH Jayden was the driver and was holding on to two kids and wow is was an adventure..... When we got to the pond the ducks were not interested in the bread, the kids ran around and let me take a few pictures of them together.
The day before and day of Valentine's
I had a few fun paper craft and food ideas for February 13. My niece came over to spend the afternoon with us!!! I put our traveling beach blanket down on the patio in the backyard and brought all my scrap-booking stuff out. As I cut out a bunch of different colored hearts the kids were pasting them on a cut out of a paper plate to make a heart wreath.
For dinner I gave them heart shaped cookie cutters and they cut cheese into hearts for there own personal pizza. I made plates with the toppings they loved so they could personalize there pizza. They enjoyed putting all the toppings on as much as they did eating them!!!Grandma Jan made us heart shaped sugar cookies so the kiddos can frost and decorate them... they listened so well and only ate 1 cookie!!! Well not counting how many times they licked there knife!!!
I also helped the kids cut out hearts and they colored some..... I made one big heart and with my scrap-booking cutouts I glued the saying "You have been heart attacked" then we were off to our Auntie and Uncle's houses to attack the front doors...... On our way to Uncle Tom's and Amanda's they all 3 fell asleep so Brian and I attacked the front doors......
Then we got Jayden and Persaus bedroom door.......
On Valentines Day Brian had to work so I made the kids pancakes and it was sooooo much fun cause they were so excited to watch me make the hearts and the first letter of there names, they helped me make "I <3 U" for dad!
