8th Grade Graduation

Typing up this post while tears still run down my cheeks as I hold my tongue.  To think about Jayden going into high school next year is just like WOW!!!!  Brian and I put together an add in the year book for his 8th grade year.  The tears I'm holding back are from the sadness in my heart as he tells me thanks a lot, all you do is embarrass me and you have ruined my reputation.  I'm holding my tongue back because I was once his age and I have huge hopes that when he is older he will look back at this post or look inside his yearbook and say Thank You to his dad and myself.  Maybe because I am a girl but I wish my parents did an add for me in my yearbooks.  Here is what the add will look like in the year book.  Brian and I think its pretty awesome!!!  The current picture is actually from today when I was trying to download other recent pictures. The bottom picture was from his 1st year in School and it is 1 of Brian and mines FAVORITE pictures we captured of Jayden in San Diego at the Padres game. 

Celebrate Persaus at School

Persaus could eat ice cream everyday!!!!! So we made ice cream cone cup cakes for her class.   So much fun and with the help from Persaus and Brian we got them done and ready for School. Brian made the stand for the comes to stay up in 😍

Persaus turns 9!!!

Our sugar is growing up WAY too fast!!!!! Her and Jayden love the T.V. Show cupcake wars.  I mentioned to Persaus about having a cupcake war Birthday Party?!? Without having to think she blurted YES!

We had 2 teams. As a team, they had 1 hour 30 minutes to think and decide the theme of there cup cakes, witch flavor cake mix and frosting.  Mix up the cupcake mix and ask an adult for help putting them in the oven and taking them out.  They also had to make and decorate the cup cake stand!!! The winning team would have the honor to use there cake to celebrate the birthday girl.  It was a ty and such a fun day!!!!!! Persaus is beyond grateful for each gift that was given and so tickeled at her deer friends who joined her in celebrating another year with her. 

Persaus School Valentines

Persaus found an image on google for an American Girl Valentine that she wanted to pass out in class this year.  I then re cre-created it in power point.

Horse Show

Persaus and another little girl who takes lessons at the same ranch as us helped Mrs. Lara at a show that she herself was in.  It was really cool to see how Persaus trainer did.  It was LONG day but a GREAT experience for the girls.

Valentines Day

Brian was finishing up his second day of a Fire class for a certification he needed.  Jayden stayed at a friends the night before so it was Persaus and I decorating for the day ❤️ Brian came home early so we decided to make brunch.  The kids made bacon into the shape of hearts (I forgot to take a picture) Persaus washed and cut up strawberries for our shortcake desert we were having after dinner.  Brian Persaus and I made different colored heart shaped pancakes. Persaus and I made some fun designs for the boys using black and dark blue food coloring (forgot to capture them) and we enjoyed brunch.  Relaxed until dinner as we all made our own pizza.  Brian made the kids pizza in a heart shape, then used a cookie cutter to make the cheese heart shaped.  I made our pepperoni heart shaped and made homemade pizza sauce.  The kids ised the left over dough to make fun shaped bread sticks.  The pizza and salad was yummy and the desert was amazing.  With homemade cards from mom and cute cards from dad.  Candy hearts all around the day was just what we needed for the forever memory engraved in our hearts ❤️
