Papa and Mimi visit

A short visit from papa and Mimi but we just love seeing them!!!! We ate at Blue Cow in Sterling, Oklahoma.  That place was yummy and we will be back :-) papa and Mimi got to see Jayden and Persaus play soccer!!!! 

Chicken

I wanted to get a chicken for Persaus.  I had forgotten I asked Barbara for one and she called to have me come get it.  Brian says Persaus traded our dog in for the cat and now she has traded the cat for our chicken.  We will be giving it back in a couple weeks.  Jayden and Persaus are having soooooo much fun playing with the chicken everyday!!!

Night night Baby Eden

Persaus wonders if Eden sleeps with her sometimes.  So I went in when they were asleep and as I snapped pictures I got one of Eden yawning and for some reason my phone ran with it and made her eyes creepy.  Persaus loves the picture. She asked me to post it on Instagram.  She zooms in and just laughs at Eden.

Persaus thru up so we kept her home the next day...... She woke up at 930 and wanted to go to school.  I kept her home just to be safe.  I moved the furniture around and cleaned base boards and cleaned the house.  Persaus played, jumped on the trampoline and craft.  I finally offered her a piece of candy if she would sit still and watch a movie...... It worked!!!!! 

Jayden is 12

Another year older and he wears it well!!! I have to say I am thankful for Jayden every single day to have another day with him.  Some days he "runs his mouth" but when we correct him it usually helps.  I'll take that over being "out of control" elsewhere. And doing bad things I see and hear from other boys his age!!!! For his Birthday weekend we planned our 1st trip to Papa and Mimi's new house in Missouri.  We left Friday and it took 6.5 hours through Kansas having a controlled burn going on for miles.  Papa and Mimi could smell the smoke on us :/ it was dark when we drove through, all we could see was the flames.  On our way home we captured pictures of what we smelled :/ when we got to Papa and Mimi's we toured there beautiful new home and talked for a little bit and wished Jayden Happy Birthday at midnight.... Then we all crashed for the night. We woke up and papa made us breakfast (I told the kids earlier in the week that papa would probably be making them breakfast) it was yummmmy like always :-) daddy, papa, Jayden and Persaus played most of the morning outside while Mimi and mom got ready for the Carne Asada fiesta Jayden requested.  Living in Oklahoma Mexican food is HOrRIBLE so having the best Mexican food this weekend was sooooooooooo good!!! Mom made a tie died cake that Jayden asked for.  Homemade cake is always the best!!!! We ate till we couldn't move or breath as the girls played downstairs and all we could do was mumbled how they were able to play as we all tried to get comfortable.  We all sang Happy Birthday to Jayden.  Sunday the boys and Persaus played outside and Persaus looked for the donkeys and horses that she fed the day before. We enjoyed another breakfast made by papa.  Papa and Mimi took us to see the house Daddy lived the first 3 years that was maybe 10 minutes from pap and Mimi's house now.  We headed home after we ate leftover and packed up the car.  Our stay was short but worth every minute we made memories.  Jayden is 12. Daddy and I are ready for this next chapter as he slowly turned into a teen!!!!! 

Blooming Tulips

If you know me well this mama cannot keep a plant alive..... However this last fall Daddy and I planted 46 Tulip bulbs.  Daddy gets ALL the credit because I gave up planting after 10.  I started to wonder if our bulbs would start blooming. And here they are a few weeks after I thought nothing was going to grow!!!!

Peanut Butter

Persaus wanted peanut butter and well we had a busy weekend and beginning of the week I have not made it into town to buy our favorite peanut butter.  So I used a jar of planters peanuts we have and wallah we made peanut butter.  It was the easiest process!!!!

This is the reason why I became a mom. Unexpected notes when my sugar thinks of me during school and shows me when she gets home.  Persaus, you make my heart melt.

After school I REaLLY had to go potty and Persaus couldn't wait for me to help her with the whipped cream..... So she got creamed!!!! 

Soccer

We LOVE Soccer!!!!!  sooooo happy the season started and BOTH kids are playing.  They both LOVE LOVE LOVE soccer which makes the season way more fun.
