Sick day

Today we all woke up feeling totally under the weather..... well it began last night after dinner Brian and I started saying how our throat was hurting and I had kept Jayden home from school yesterday because he was having such a hard time breathing :((  then in the middle of the night Jayden was really sick :((( so today we are home while it rains outside, we are still in our jammies and resting all while we watch movies.... I made them a yummy breakfast that I just put together and it turned out really good!!! a cinnamon toast casserole kind of dish..... we sprinkled syrup and a little powder sugar to make it just right.  Tomorrow we have a Doctors appointment to see whats going on.....  We really are praying that it is allergies so Jayden is all better for his 9th Birthday celebration this coming Saturday.

Circus Clown

Right here in our town we had the opportunity to meet a Circus Clown......  I packed a lunch for all of us and watched the Clown show us some magic :)) before we left for the park I was downloading all my pictures and well I forgot the memory card for my camera so I only have a couple pictures from my phone-BUMMER-  the following week we went to the actual Circus after Jayden had Soccer practice and Persaus had Gymnastics.... It was very crowded and well the kids loved it.... the best part was seeing the lion and tigers up soo close :))  it was way over priced and I was glad Brian didn't pull more than 60 dollars out because the toys were 10 dollars for 1 :((( 2 bags of cotton candy were 12.00 I only let the kids have a little from 1 bag and I threw the rest away when we got home.  Jayden remembered to Circus we saw last year in California and said that it was way better-me too!!!!

Grandparents visit

Back in March Mimi and Papa came for a visit.  The kids love every time they are out here because they don't get to see them as often any more.  I got home later in the week so we did a few things around our area before they left.  Also it was Papa's birthday so we took them both to a famous restaurant out here called Meers, they have some really yummy burgers and actually all there stuff is so delicious.

I have our day backwards.... first we went to the Wichita mountain Wildlife Refuge to see the buffalo then we went to the restaurant....

Smores

What better way to enjoy the evening than to sit outside in front of the fire pit and enjoy smores with the family......... we did just that and look forward to doing it more when it warms up again..  It was a little windy but we still enjoyed yummy smores.
