Persaus 3rd Birthday Tea Party

It's amazing when we think that only 3 years ago we were blessed with our first baby girl, and what an adventure these 3 years has been and even better the future she has and how special as her dad, mom and big brother get to watch her live out what the Lord has for her!!!!! This maybe picture overload but I am really happy with how her birthday turned out. As the evening came I sat with Persaus to reflect on her special day I asked her what her favorite part of her day was and she said having her friends over! too cute! Brian helped me bring alllllllll the babies and cribs and all the things the kids need to tend to there babies, I brought the dress up box and vanity out and the girls did each other's hair changed into different dresses, put the jewelry on, it was all a hit and they played together so well. The girls were asked if they wanted tea in there cups.... well they had fruit punch cause they said "we don't like tea" some of the adults enjoyed my newly found famous homemade Chai latte using Stash tea bags ( thank you to my friend Gina who works at a coffee shop, she introduced it to me!) The kids craft was a mission in it's self for the parents to say the least.. but in the end the girls were happy and loved there necklaces! We are so excited to watch our little flower grow and the fun and funny memories Persaus will place in our hearts. Enjoy the pictures f her birthday as much we are.

My boys mini vacation!

On Thursday I did a friend of Brian's girlfriends hair and she said they were all leaving for the desert on Friday and that Brian said he wanted to go but couldn't cause the birthday party, well I called Brian and said pack your bags and Jayden's and get the bikes together cause you two are going to go have fun for a couple days while I get ready for the Birthday Party.... Jayden got to go in Dave's Off-Road truck for the first time and he told me they were going 230 miles an hour... Lord protect them if they did! Jayden has a passion for the desert just like his daddy and what an awesome way to spend time together getting down right dirty in the dirt to the adrenaline rush going through the wash.
Next weekend we are going to our best friends up North and well we can't decide if we want to go riding or go play in the snow.... or maybe we will have to ride in the snow.... SITUATION SOLVED!!!!

Birthday Prep

My amazing mother and father in law helped Brian and I get ready for Persaus Birthday party that is tomorrow......AAAAAAAHHHHHHH my baby is 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the bows are all tied on the gift boxes, I used cookie cutters and cut out bread in the shape of hearts, princess slippers, crowns, and stars and will fill them in the morning. I used the cookie cutters to make a fun heart shape in the Pineapple. We teamed up and washed all the China! The girls are going to make 2 crafts so I separated them at there stations I made for them at the kids craft table, decorated with ice cream dishes filled with candy rings I found in the Wilton wedding section and candy star suckers.... Marshals and Home Goods has the most unique candies and I LOVE putting ideas together. Persaus has the most beautiful birthday dress that she is sooo excited to wear! ohhhh we couldn't wait another day so we gave her her Birthday gift early ( we bought it back in October or November cause we thought Costco would sell out fast) the pink retro kitchen and she absolutely loves it and we are in love with it too..... I asked Brian if he would play kitchen with me after we put the kids down LOL!!! The camera is charged and look forward to sharing Persaus 3rd birthday with our friends and family.

Busy week

We have had some pretty eventful few days and I don't think they will be over till next week!!!! Everyday we have something on our calender. Saturday morning I did hair for one of my clients daughter who got married and they were so sweet they had giving me an invitation to the wedding, I went home and got Persaus she was my date and Brian wanted to spend some one on one time with Jayden at the dirt tracks driving there RC cars around. Saturday evening was a really special night, I took Jayden on a date to get away and have mom and son time!!! Jayden wanted to go to the Painted Earth to paint something for his sisters birthday. He painted a dolphin jumping out of the water while I painted Persaus a piggy bank with the help of Jayden telling me what colors to use and were to use them!!! He enjoys the alone time since his sister takes up a lot of our time!!! This time is all about him and he knows he has my attention 100 percent and the other way around. I forgot to bring my camera and I intentionally left my cell phone at home for no distractions which I could have used to take pictures..... lessen learned it is charged and in my purse ready to go!!! I will post pictures of the finished work soon.

Sunday morning we get all beautiful and handsome to praise and worship the lord. Persaus in her second week in a new classroom, she is doing so well and now has a bible verse every week that she recites back to her teachers. Jayden told me she now comes into the children's congregation for a couple songs and for prayer. Jayden says he tries to get her attention every time but never looks around..... she's too busy listening to her teachers or playing with her friends, I said to Jayden why don't you yell her name, he laughed and said cause we have to be quiet and listen mom!!!! All the kids earn money which they call Firehouse franks, they can be earned from bringing your Bible, remembering your Bible verse, Tithe and offering, and for many other good causes. Jayden is saving his money to see if he can reach the amount of another friends higher amount, while Persaus got her first Firehouse Frank for remembering her Bible verse. This week Persaus will get her Awana vest and a work book that Brian and I can help her and Jayden learn and grow more with the lord!

On Monday Brian and I took Persaus to see the new Disney movie The Princess and the Frog, very cute but had a lot of voodoo and on the big screen it was kinds intimidating but like all the other Disney Princess movies they have a lot of evil to get a little good and happiness in the end. We went through Chick-Fil-A drive-thru got lunch and into the mall candy store and put into my diaper bag..... we still got popcorn and a soda-----almost 15.00 dollars later!!!! This was the start to Persaus 3rd Birthday, a week of celebrating.

Until next time.......

The begining of our first blog

Starting a blog has been on our hearts for a while now and knowing all of Brian's family is far away and I have friends and family far also this was the best idea ever. The thought of being able to Publish this story into a book will be really cool as our kids grow they can look back at the memories. Sometimes my blogs may be really long, what can I say I love to talk, oh and when I am really proud of something or someone I love to share!!! I hope everyone that reads our story, the journey we are on, the trials we may face, the love we have for each other, milestones our kids will have, sport updates of our kids, the vacations we may take, our family growth with the Lord, the goals we set, our dreams, prayer requests..... and so on, enjoy our blog as much as we are enjoying making the memories.......

Jayden is our 7 year old and in second grade. He is doing sooo well in school and we are so proud of him!!! Jayden has a very sensitive soul and a tender heart and is soo easy to love and just sit and talk with him. He is well mannered and has a positive attitude and will recognize and encourage his friends and classmates. Jayden loves being outside.... riding his bike and jumping his new jumps Uncle Tom made him. Jayden also loves going to the desert and riding his quad or anything he can get his hands on. inside he likes to make paper airplanes or build models of any kind (he just put together a wooden trash truck that screws together with his Pappa Jesse) and he loves looking at books to learn about the Solar system. We have began to read chapter books with him, listening to him read is just amazing. He has an awesome time at church in Awana's, involved in plays at church and meeting new friends that share the same importance in there life... God.  We are stuck in the middle of which sport he should go into next, I think we will put him back into tae-kwan-do and golf lessons.... He looks forward to both and this will keep him extra busy!!  Jayden also has a new passion of drawing and we will post pictures of his drawings!!! And OOHHHH does Jayden love to cook!!!!!!!

Persaus will be 3 in a week and will be starting Pre-School later this year! Persaus is our little fireball..... she can be our little princess, playing dolls, building puzzles to getting down right dirty rolling in the mud, and Dallas our dog is her best friend and partner in crime!!! She got her first scooter this year since she loved riding her brothers all the time, she also loves to ride bikes and her power wheels. Persaus has a a loving tender side and sometimes you just cant get enough of her.  We started Persaus in Gymnastics almost a year ago and she absolutely loves it.  As a former gymnast myself I am living through her now.  As soon as she is old enough we may put her in to tae-kwan-do as well.  Basically Persaus is your average second child at 3 years old, having fun and trying to keep up with her older brother while destroying everything in seconds and climbing and jumping off furniture that you would have thought when Jayden was this age would require alot of visits to the ER or a permanent helmet, almost like gum-bee!!!!

Brian and I will be married 9 years this year!!!!!  As we grow older together and look back at what was kinda a crazy life being that we started dating soo young and started having children young that we have grown in so many ways and are now having fun!  We are on an adventure and when one of our chapters comes to an end we are excited for the next chapter to begin.  Brian is the best husband, father and friend any one can ask for!!!    We have been asked a lot lately about our walk with God, here it is..... I have been involved with church off and on my whole life and Jayden has been involved with the Christian Church forever and every summer he is in Vacation Bible School, this past summer he went to 3 different VBS's he really enjoyed the one at New Covenant Church which I went to all middle school and a little in high school. Brian and I started going to this Church and are now getting more and more involved and are walking in Faith. Marriage, having a family, raising children and all that's in between is a very very hard journey, and as a family going to Church and through prayer our marriage is at another level, a level I think we were looking hard for. Its a powerful thing and we are proud to share it!!!!! Its amazing when the Holy spirit talks within you, Brian and I share it with each other........ and in reality to see those things happen right in front of our eyes In our blog we will share alot about things in our heart, Bible verses that stuck out at Church, and our future ahead...........

Now I am really excited to share this blog with friends and family!!!!!!!!
